The fourth annual United Nations Environment Assembly was held in Nairobi, Kenya, and 4,700 people were expected to be in attendance. Guests included world leaders, policy makers, businessmen and experts who contributed to the critical discussion of the environment and the preservation of its deteriorating health. Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, the only Buddhist organization present, joined the conclave on this significant global crisis.
