Hundreds of families showed up for Tzu Chi’s disaster relief distributions in West Virginia, where the cost of damages caused by catastrophic flash floods has left many struggling to afford their basic daily needs. Volunteers provided $355,400 in immediate aid, helping 828 families who felt comforted, some saying they will forever be grateful, their resolve to brave the road ahead and rebuild their homes and lives strengthened.
