Sierra Leone: 10 Years of Compassion

For the past 10 years, Tzu Chi has been active with community support in the country of Sierra Leone in West Africa. Over 100,000 people annually have been able to benefit from programs such as rice and multigrain distributions, women's tailoring training, flood mitigation cleanup in community areas, WASH infrastructure (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), disaster relief, and more. In February 2025, we made our latest mission to the region for a month-long effort to expand our local assistance even further.
