For attendees of the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago, IL, the conference kicked off with celebration, depth, and diversity. Like many groups who were proud to showcase their faith and unique cultural traditions, was the delegation of Tzu Chi at the Parade of Faiths on Sunday.

Then, on Monday, the opening plenary session brought flair, positive energy, and blessings to the crowd with a lively lion and dragon dance. According to Debra Boudreaux, CEO of Tzu Chi USA, it was a touching festivity to share with such a broad audience. She believes that “through the Asian culture, we can share what would be the way to ask for Buddha’s blessing.”
