17 Episodes AvailableFrom August 14-18, 2023, people from more than 200 countries flew in to Chicago, IL to attend the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions, one of the largest interfaith gatherings in the world. This year, its theme was “A Call to Conscience: Defending Freedom & Human Rights,” and a delegation from Tzu Chi, including Dharma Masters from the Jing Si Abode, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Charity Foundation, as well as Tzu Chi USA & Tzu Chi USA Midwest Regional volunteers, came to bear Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s mission of compassion in action.
