Tzu Chi USA launched its first medical mission in 1993 to provide quality care for uninsured and underinsured populations in Southern California. Ever since, the mission has evolved into a wide and diverse range of healthcare programs and initiatives intended to reach underserved communities in need of affordable, quality, and culturally-sensitive medical, dental, and vision care services and more.
