Coming to France’s Aid

Torrential rains at the start of June 2016 caused severe flooding in central and northeastern France. Tzu Chi volunteers in France quickly rose to the occasion and organized their first disaster relief mission. This news series takes us to the flood-stricken towns of Salbris and Romorantin-Lanthenay in Sologne, where distributions of financial aid were an emotional affair, with local residents caught off guard by the kindness and generosity that arrived from afar.
