2017 Haiti Interfaith Memorial

January 12, 2017, marked the 7th interfaith memorial service for those whose lives were taken in the 2010 Haiti earthquake. When the earthquake hit seven years ago, Tzu Chi was there to help, and in 2016, volunteers implemented a Cash for Relief program after Hurricane Matthew. Executive Director of Tzu Chi New York, George Chang, led a prayer at the ceremony that reminds us of our inherent need to help those who are suffering, and take action in trying times.
