Hurricane Helene Relief

After Hurricane Helene crashed ashore, it left a heartbreaking path of destruction in its wake. As Tzu Chi’s disaster assessment team traveled among affected communities, they saw tree branches and insulation, waterlogged mattresses, tables, chairs, cupboards, and refrigerators, all one’s worldly belongings on the sides of roads — and their hearts ached. Tzu Chi volunteers have been working hand in hand with communities to show survivors they’re not alone, and provide much-needed warmth.
