In the wake of Hurricane Helene, many North Carolinians face an unprecedented challenge – and yet, Tzu Chi volunteers witnessed an unmistakable strength of heart. Get a glimpse into Tzu Chi’s assessment mission as volunteers connected with survivors and American Red Cross partners in North Carolina to assess the aftermath of Hurricane Helene on October 14. Indeed, for the volunteers present, this journey underscored the vital role of community support in times of crisis, where acts of human kindness can help rebuild not just structures, but the very spirit of communities affected by tragedy.
