When Dr. David Wong first reached out to his Tzu Chi volunteer for help with medical supplies, it would be the beginning of a budding relationship with the BronxCare Health System in New York City, the global epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic. In our second donation of PPE there, we had the chance to speak with Dr. Wong and Department of Medicine Chairman Dr. Sridhar S. Chilmuri, who shared what dealing with a new disease is like as it unfolds before your very eyes.
