When a disaster strikes anywhere in the world, people do care and come to help. But full recovery is a long process that can take years, and over time, some recovering communities end up forgotten. Tzu Chi USA recently partnered with Rebuilding Together NYC to make sure this doesn’t happen in the case of Staten Island after Hurricane Sandy. And now, everything’s looking brighter for some residents there!
