Kids playing on broken furniture by the side of the street amid the rubble of torn down buildings. Shelters in colonies of tents. People camping in front of what remains of their damaged or demolished homes, afraid to lose their land if they leave. That’s life in Jojutla one month after the last visit by our disaster assessment team. The path to recovery will be tough, but our upcoming distributions of aid will help people rebuild.
