On the last day of Tzu Chi’s disaster assessment in Ecuador, the team travelled to Pedernales, where 45,000 people were impacted by the earthquake. In every city, people are out of work and yearn for a solid roof over their heads. The Ambassador of Taiwan to Ecuador accompanied the team during the entire survey mission, and was filled with admiration for the team’s tireless dedication under challenging conditions.
