Lifting Spirits After the Michigan Flood

Our relief volunteers experienced the true bravery of residents impacted by the Mid-Michigan flood at our disaster aid distribution ceremony. It is as one volunteer stated: “[a] flood can destroy our houses, but it cannot destroy our spirit.” With this resounding sentiment, the room was filled with hope. A total of 72 families felt the comfort and care of our volunteers at the event, as a sign-language piece was also performed to uplift and soothe their hearts.
