When a series of floods abruptly swept through San Jose, California, catching many residents unaware, Tzu Chi volunteers were on the scene to provide aid. Families were evacuated from the flood zones no time to spare, and relocated to shelters. Hoping to soothe the ache and worry of resident’s hearts, a hot meal distribution was swiftly organized by volunteers.
