“I lost everything. Now I’m looking for a place to live which is not easy.” The path to full recovery for those impacted by the flooding that devastated San Jose will be long and hard. Some of the people who came to our first cash-card distributions were still in shock, even fighting back the tears: “If anybody went through what I went through, come here. There’s a lot of love and a lot of compassion here. And I’m so grateful.”
