Above the city of Canoa, Catholic nuns were preparing for mass when the earthquake struck and part of their church collapsed before their eyes. They expected it would take months to clean up, but thanks to the Cash For Relief program, the job was done in days and everyone can come together for mass once again. Despite the tragedy of the earthquake, the nuns feel that everyone was blessed by God, “He blessed us with our lives and the grace to keep going.”
