As members of the Ecuadorian community gathered at the Consulate General of Ecuador in New York for the encore screening of “Ecuador Se Levanta”, they hardly expected an evening that gave rise to both tears and joy. They came to support earthquake victims in their homeland, and when they saw the amount of aid Tzu Chi had provided and heard stories from the relief mission, everyone found cause to celebrate.
