Churches and houses of worship are many people’s first port of call in times of crisis. But, in the time of the new coronavirus, going to such a place in and of itself may prove more harm than intended. Nevertheless, the pastors at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church and Tzu Chi Long Island volunteers have teamed up to prove that houses of worship can truly offer peace and spiritual help to those in need – even if it’s through groceries and face masks.
