Hope & Gratitude Through Service
Series: Healing LA From The Wildfires“It makes you, like, cry, because you don’t see this kind of humanity anywhere. But when I come here, I see these people that are hugging me, giving me hope. And it’s not just me; it’s thousands of people who have lost hope, and now I know what humanity is,” expressed Nader Mohebkhosravi, a care recipient at our distribution on 2/23 looking for the next step for him and his family after the LA Wildfires.
Our goal in disaster relief work is not only to provide for the immediate needs of those affected but also to help them remember that they still have people in their corner and that humanity is good. Hope is worth it because love is always present.
