Disaster Relief
One community in Galena Park, Texas, home to a primarily Vietnamese immigrant population, was severely hit by Hurricane Harvey. Throughout our distributions on the 15th-17th, Tzu Chi relief volunteers provided a total of $112,600 in assistance, aiding 236 families within Vietnamese communities. Hoping to pass on their love to others in need, one man even donated his cash card back to us after the distribution.
