Tzu Chi volunteers held a distribution event in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, to provide aid for those still struggling under the immense weight of Hurricane Maria’s destruction. For many, a cash card can mean hope and relief, and it gives those impacted the freedom to use it for the things they need most—be it car repairs to get back to work or a mattress to lay their weary head on at night. We also offered an attentive ear, letting those impacted know that they are not alone.
