Tzu Chi’s Camp California: Walnut, Los Angeles

“It’s definitely an excellent opportunity for children of all ages to come experience American culture,“ states Tzu Chi summer camp volunteer Branden Ho. “Teamwork, communication and critical thinking” are some of the learning points that Tzu Chi volunteers instill in their young campers. The goal is to prepare them for the “real world” by teaching core Tzu Chi values like compassion, wisdom, integrity, and responsibility, as well as provide wind in the sails to proceed as courageous humans who are able to lead and follow.
