Bodhisattvas at the Rubin Museum of Art

NYC’s Rubin Museum specializes in art and Buddhist culture from the Himalayas, India, Nepal and surrounding regions. Given that Tzu Chi has provided aid in Nepal, it was invited to present it’s disaster relief work there. The gratitude, respect and love Tzu Chi volunteers bring as they offer compassionate relief were a fitting example of the practice of Buddhist bodhisattvas the audience saw in the art around them.
