Tzu Chi Receives A Congratulatory Letter from President Biden

We’re honored to have received a letter of appreciation from President Joe Biden in recognition of Tzu Chi USA’s 35th anniversary and the commitment of Tzu Chi volunteers across the nation! 

“We’re all created equal and deserve to be treated equally throughout our lives,” the letter expressed. “It’s a covenant we have with one another that holds America together. And in part because of organizations like the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, I have never been more optimistic about the prospects of this great Nation. As you celebrate this wonderful occasion, I hope you take pride in the impact you have had in your community. You remind us that there is nothing beyond our capacity when we work together.” Watch on as volunteers welcomed Paul Chang, Lead of Region 9 Southwest for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, to their final volunteer meeting of 2024, where he presented President Biden’s letter of appreciation and shared his thanks.
