The curriculum at Tzu Chi’s Elementary School in Monrovia, California encompasses enriching character education methodologies that help instill ethical qualities in future world changers. These cultivated lessons are shared within communities and help to spread a culture of universal love. Values are reinforced by culturally enriching bilingual lessons and activities, such as giving to Tzu Chi’s Bamboo Bank that teaches altruism. Additionally small classes ensure individual needs can be met, and foster an inclusive learning environment for students.
