For Susan McBrien, who plays the lead role of Mary-Lou in our short film “Mary-Lou’s Treasure,” the part offered some demanding new experiences. “Having water swirl around you, and having to do a scene was quite an interesting challenge!” The scene offered a somewhat unexpected hurdle to navigate while acting, but she was gratified by the endeavor, and the ability to let others see into the lives of the individuals that inspired this story.
