In “Love Saves” a family trauma intersects with the world of Tzu Chi and its work. While the foundation provides a lot of disaster aid, for screenwriter Ida Eva Zielinska it was important to choose a “mundane place, somewhere very normal” as the setting for this story, instead of a disaster zone that would “overshadow the dramas that exist in everyday life.” There are people who need love and care around us all the time.
