The hunger epidemic in Haiti is growing at an alarming rate. Among the elderly, it’s been a cause for major concern—and Tzu Chi and local officials are taking measures to combat it. With rice shipped from Taiwan and beans brought over from Canada, the canteen is in full swing distributing daily meals to those in need.
