The “cocheros” – “riders” in Spanish – earned their name because of the horses they received from the government after flooding in Choluteca, Honduras left them destitute. Our series presents their story of struggle and survival, and how Tzu Chi brought relief. Each of the people you will meet has a unique tale to tell, and that of Cesar and Erika is particularly heart-breaking.
