Ecuador's Evolution
After the earthquakes of 2016/17 Tzu Chi returns to Santa Ana, Ecuador to help restore the community, including a school and senior home, to full function.
“We will purchase [an] entire new set of rehab equipment to the rehab center” states one Tzu Chi Volunteer.
Students and residents alike express their gratitude to Tzu Chi by contributing and adopting Master Yen’s principals. The Mayor of Santa Ana expresses “Tzu Chi leaves love messages and makes us reconsider our behavior to our brothers.”
Collectively, between the residents of Santa Ana and the Volunteers of Tzu Chi, we are on a mission to bring peace of mind and love to all of those in need.
In the words of Master Cheng Yen “The beauty of people lies in their virtues; it is displayed through their good deeds, good words, and good heart.” What’s in your heart?
