Episode 5: A Cochero’s Life

They leave before dawn to go and search on dark roads for hours. “Anything we find we try to take it and sell it, wood, aluminum, iron, plastic bottles, anything.” Their homes were shacks made of found materials too, but thanks to this Tzu Chi Honduras project, that will no longer be case. This community of cocheros will now have permanent houses built from cement blocks, and winter will no longer be something to fear.
