Amid Tzu Chi’s “Rebuilding With Faith” mission to reconstruct a local church in Canoa, the entire community joined together to work with love to host an interfaith Buddha Bathing Ceremony in the spirit of universal love and courage. This is the first time local volunteers have organized an entire Tzu Chi event on their own accord! Buddha Masters and honored guests joined the beautiful ceremony for a unified goal of strengthening the Canoa community and re-establishing hope in the aftermath of the 2016 Ecuador earthquake.
