After a tragic mudslide on August 14, 2017, killed over 400 people in Regent, a town on the outskirts of Sierra Leone’s capital, life for those impacted is a bitter blend of mourning and extreme hardship. Many survivors live in an overcrowded camp; lacking latrines, food, and drinking water; uncertain of what happens next. Our volunteers came to assess immediate needs and share their pain with solidarity and love.
