Jing Si Aphorisms are pithy observations written by Dharma Master Cheng Yen, revealing the essence of the Buddha’s teachings. Published volumes of these “still thoughts” have touched millions, inspiring wisdom and providing guidance. Can using Jing Si Aphorisms as teaching guide help prisoners as they reflect on the past and seek a different path for the future? Perhaps so, but starting the program won’t be easy.
