New Orleans musicians keep a vibrant cultural identity that roots back to the birth of Jazz alive, while providing a backbone to the city’s economy. Yet music makers everywhere share a hard life of late nights and injuries resulting from playing their instruments. The Musicians’ Clinic of New Orleans takes the plight of musicians here to heart by providing free health care; and since Katrina, they know they need to do more.
