Episode 4 : Karma Kitchen

Series: Breaking Broccoli
| 6:36m

Discover how a popular restaurant in Berkeley dishes out savory Nepalese and Indian cuisine all for the price of zero dollars. The food isn’t exactly free, as people are encouraged to pay for those that come and eat after them. The guests have complete control over the amount, so this restaurant model doesn’t seem like it would be sustainable. But despite common sense, business is thriving! Maybe because creating positive Karma tastes and feels so good.
