Who We Are
As the very first registered Buddhist charity organization in China, and originating in Taiwan, missions in these areas thus take place in the symbolic heart of the foundation. Over the past 25 years, more than 5 million people from 23 different cities in mainland China have benefitted from Tzu Chi’s aid. From emergency relief to creating schools, we have always been happy to lend a helping hand in times of need.
