December 19, 2023

Our Climate

As a faith-based organization hoping to assert its concerns for climate change and willingness to take part in climate action, Tzu Chi USA CEO Debra Boudreaux has represented Tzu Chi at both COP28 and the Global Faith Leaders Summit (which took place in Abu Dhabi earlier in November 2023).

Bringing Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s concerns for the planet to these platforms, including at a roundtable conversation convened by the Interfaith Liaison Committee at COP28, Debra says that “she already reminds everyone of us: the climate crisis is really happening. What do we have? So we need to reflect, repent from our [own] self.”
