Episode 7: Change is the Constant

Series: Stung by Climate
| 10:12m

They have disease, pests and insecticides to contend with, and now bees are starving to death. The number of hives in the U.S. is down by 50% from what it was in the late 1940s. Nature is in chaos due to climate change, yet everything in nature evolves. But how fast can insects and animals evolve, when things change drastically from year to year? Beekeepers are brainstorming solutions and adapting – but they’re not optimistic.
