Long-Term Care After Park Fire
When the Park Fire swept through Cohasset, Butte County, in 2024, the Morris family lost everything: their home, their belongings, and the chance to stay together.
In the aftermath of a disaster, recovery is about more than rebuilding structures. It’s about healing, hope, and reunion. Through every step of the long road to recovery, Tzu Chi’s Long-Term Disaster Recovery Team from the Tzu Chi Chico Service Center has stood by the Morris family, offering compassionate support as they work toward rebuilding their lives and reuniting as a family.
This is a story of resilience, compassion, and the power of community in the face of devastating wildfire loss.
