“The fire came on over the hill. It was the Airport Fire. There was a lot of ash rainfall,” said fire survivor and Tzu Chi care recipient David John Joseph.
The devastation produced by the Bridge, Line, and Airport fires was acutely felt by many communities as they swept across Southern California in September and October 2024, and Tzu Chi has set out to provide relief.
