Hosting a California VOAD Conference

On November 4, 2024, Tzu Chi USA hosted the first of a series of California National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) training days. Participants enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of the campus and the sense of solidarity brought on by the conference.
The conference’s topic was disaster response and recovery, and how volunteer organizations like Tzu Chi can better work together during times of crisis. What VOAD does is educate and strengthen organizations so that they can respond more effectively to the typical disasters in their area. Watch on to learn more.
