If having an autoimmune disorder wasn’t enough, imagine being displaced from your home country. This is the story of Osama, Having been displaced by the Syrian civil war into Jordan, Osama, who’s been battling Crohn’s Disease.

Despite the family’s modest means, Osama’s been able to receive treatment from Tzu Chi Medical Association doctors in Jordan. “Osama is still a child and needs help,” his father Monter Sofrajy says; “this mission, Inshallah, is helping us in many ways and I would like to thank them so much.”
